This is a closeup of Brian Wilson's portrayal of Muffin. It's noteworthy for several reasons — it's an excellent picture of her; Brian had nothing but some photographs to work with; he had never before attempted a portrait of anything but a human; and Mary thinks the painting looks remarkably like a photograph of her paternal grandmother, Grr, that was taken in the 1950s and that Brian couldn't possibly have seen — the photo is in Maryland, not Florida, and even Jerry doesn't remember the one or two times he's seen it.
