Our master bedroom faces due west, in which direction two or three live-oak trees keep things constantly shady. The room has two windows, a small window over the bed and the ultra-high window pictured here. Tiffany added a mirror “window” and flanked it with two painted windows that, in a subtle touch, show a different time of day from that in the “sky” on our ceiling. Reflected in the “window” are a shadow of our ceiling fan and a painting of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
