We consider our master bedroom the house's pièce de résistance — it took more than a month to complete, including the rental of special scaffolding to get to the top of the 14-foot ceiling. The room is an unusual shape, 22 feet long and 9 feet wide, but luckily with a 4'x7' niche into which we can fit about half the bed. This photo was taken from the north end of the room.
