The gargoyles that you see here were originally bought to hold swagged curtains in our house in Maryland. The tapestry they hold here is leftover fabric from the reupholstering of our Victorian sofa. The tapestry hides a “hole” in the wall originally meant for the chimney of a Franklin stove.
